Story of the streets of Gurb at 19th century

By 1850 the road from Barcelona had finally reached Vic. During the 1860’s there was created the radial road network, which made Vic be connected to the large towns of Osona. People from Gurb and St. Bartholomew did not want to be separated and demanded that the road should be opened again, without much traffic, between the two villages.
